Joseph Pulitzer bought the newspaper, St. Louis Dispatch in 1878 and merged it with the St. Louis Evening Post to establish the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Over the years the paper has grown to be a prominent publication in St. Louis with a daily circulation of 67,848 copies and 105,931 copies on Sundays.

Riverfront Times is a free weekly newspaper in Missouri published by Euclid Media Group. The paper was established in 1977 by Ray Hartmann and has over the years grown to be a prominent publication in the state.
